This is a character I made for an assignment , her name is Penny and she is a mechanic , she will be part of my upcoming short film , right now I am in the pre-production stage but over the New Year I will start doing my keyshot!
I based the website colors off of her design.
This is a piece where I had to image her in a shot , this was an early concept of her garage, and where I tried to introduce perspective. My favorite part is all the stuff on the wall with her lunch and tools.
This is a portrait I decided to do for practice, got a reference of a soldier , my original goal was to focus on the line art , because I'm quite sketchy with my linework I decided to challenge myself.
After I was finished with that , why not try to continue? So I used a soft brush to match the light on the armor.
Then when I done , I felt like something was missing , so I decided to add the metal texture onto the piece which was very fun to do!
Lastly after receiving some feedback on the piece , I used a soft brush to ease some of the linework and those small changes really improved the overall piece with how it turned out.
